What I started off trying to say is that Ron Paul is talking out of both ends just like any other candidate. He wants to protect the individual but harm "big government business" which will eventually hit individuals. I haven't see a candidate yet that I can fully support. You have to vote sooner than me but, maybe by March someone will standout as the clear choice. If not Ron Paul may be the least evil choice.

I hear you on the healthcare issue. Healthcare has become very expensive and I can't really figure out if just one thing is driving costs up or if there are a combination of factors driving up costs. I may be in the minority on this but, I'm not sure we do the whole thing right anymore.

I think you are a little confused with what you want or I am having trouble understanding it. First you say that cutting programs is a good thing, then you want to raise taxes so we don't have to cut programs. Which one do you want? Less programs? Only way that's going to happen is if the cash flow stops. We both know that if organization XYZ is given 10k in government funds that they will spend 10k. They spend all of it no matter what. If the government doesn't have the money to give the cuts begin to happen.

You say that cutting jobs and welfare would be bad in regards to Ron Paul but in your last paragraph you say that is what we should do. So do you agree with Ron Paul then?

If Ron Paul were elected I have the feeling that one of two things would happen. He would be blocked by Congress on a bunch of things, or he will realize that once he became President, he can't do half the things he mentioned during his campaign (kind of like Obama and Guantanamo).

The fact is this Ron Paul guy is the ONLY candidate that I see right now that has even mentioned doing anything about the problem that you say we must tackle and no longer just sweep under the rug for later.

If not Ron Paul who do you know that is saying that they want to change things? Palin 2.0? That's my nickname for Bachman (sp?). Obama as a Rhino? (Romney) Or how about Bush 3.0? (Perry) The top three candidates that the media follows are just the same thing all over again but with a different name.

I need to look into Huntsman and Cain. Have you heard much about them?

Lastly, I think that the US is at a corner of sorts in our history. Do we want all these social programs? If we can start a healthcare program that is paid for by taxes that actually works that means I don't have to pay over $300 a month for health insurance anymore and my company doesn't have to pay $400 a month for it either. In exchange my taxes go up. If they only go up that $300 that I was paying I think I'd be ok with it but would the care given be equal to or better than what I'm receiving now? I don't know.

I say all these things because I'm not sure who I want to vote for in these next elections either.

I found this image last year using google or yahoo image search. I have been asked about ownership of the image recently and would like to note what I have found.

After examining the copywrite inscription, which is quite difficult to see on the image posted here, I have found that it is copywrighted by Somerset House Publishing. Based on what I have seen on the internet, they publish and distribute art. If you are interested in the image, I suggest you contact them. Here is a link to their web site: <a href="http://www.somersethouseart.com/" rel="nofollow">www.SomersetHouseArt.com</a>. The artist is Tom duBois and the piece is called <a href="http://www.somersetart.com/shop/image_details.asp?r=191&Category=Christian&c=22&Artist_Last_Name=duBois&Artist_First_Name=Tom&title=No+Room+in+the+Inn&letPerTab=&als=&els=" rel="nofollow">"No Room in the Inn." </a>

I hope this helps anyone who would like to purchase a print or contact the artist.

@ Jason - I can't wait to see the book. I'm sure my design work will improve as soon as I can get my hands on it.

@ Colleen - I'll tell it, soon.

@ Jeremy - Yes it's been ages since we've done anything. When do you get a break in the school work? Perhaps we need to get the guys together and go to a football game.

Good to see you're finally back from your hiatus. Hopefully you'll continue to keep us posted with your life from now on. And as Colleen suggests, do tell! We all really need to hang out again sometime soon. I hardly get to go out anymore since school started back up, and I feel like I have no life now. Anyway, good to hear things are going great for ya!

Hey B! Thanks for posting that update. I was wondering what you've been up to but haven't taken the time to call or write because I've been so busy myself. My book is almost done. That's about all I can say about my summer, and the last 6 months really. I'm supposed to be officially finished on Oct 9th so until then it'll still be busy busy busy. :)

I concur with the previous two posts... I have no idea what exactly you're talking about. Apparently you had a perplexing computer-based problem, perused through the internet for ideas, and came up with a handy solution. Atta boy!
